Three Members Receive Rotary International Recognition

Frank Hollick presents Paul Harris Fellow Certificate to Christina Spolsky

Three Chestnut Hill Rotarians received recognition from Rotary International at a recent club meeting for contributing to the Rotary Foundation. Christina Spolsky became a Paul Harris Fellow and Maggie Stoeffel and David Stoeffel each became a Paul Harris x 2 Fellow. The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation.

Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.

Rotary established the recognition in 1957 to encourage and show appreciation for substantial contributions to what was then the Foundation’s only program, Rotary Foundation Fellowships for Advanced Study, the precursor to Ambassadorial Scholarships.
