The spirit of Rotary has always been friendship and fellowship that results from a collective view that we all should serve and give back to others. We enjoy drinking and dining, visiting in member’s homes, and much more on a regular basis with our diverse group of like-minded good Samaritans.
-
Rotary is the oldest and most prestigious service organization in the world whose ranks include executives, managers, professionals and decision-makers from around the world. Our club meetings, service projects and social events provide opportunities to meet people from various backgrounds and career stages from entry to senior level executive to retirement.
-
The Rotary network of clubs today includes 1.4 million members, in more than 200 countries. The many positive global impacts of Rotary have been and continue to be staggering. As a member, you’ll be welcomed in any of the 46,000 clubs world-wide and be in good company where ever you go.
-
There is opportunity for personal and professional growth by participating in club leadership by serving on committees, board of directors and through training and networking provided by the local District and Rotary International annual convention. You’ll develop skills like public speaking, project management, and event planning.
-
Get involved with one of the programs sponsored by our club. Or, identify a need in the community and design a hands-on project that addresses it. Share your ideas and even take the lead on carrying them out. Your suggestions could become our next big initiative.
-
Rotarians practice high ethical standards. Our core belief that guides the club is the Rotary four-way test which asks: Of the things we think, say or do: It is the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? Because of our open and inclusive philosophy, Rotary welcomes all individuals who want to serve others in need.
