President Andy Sears Receives Special Honor

President Andy Sears received special recognition at the recent breakfast program in appreciation for his leadership and dedication to the success of the Rotary Club of Chestnut Hill over the past year.

In recognition for his service, a donation from the club was made in his honor for $500 plus a challenge for an additional $500 from club members to Rotaplast International. The donation will be used to provide corrective plastic surgery for children in low-income countries born with clef lip or clef palate.

Immediate Past President, Maggie Stoeffel presented President Sears with a certificate from Rotaplast, signed by Paul Quintavalla, who serves as a Director of the organization.

“Andy did so much this past year as club president to move us forward and keep on making the club experience fun for everyone,” said Stoeffel. Last year, Sears presented Stoeffel with a certificate and donation in her honor to thank her for her hard work as club president. “I remember how meaningful it was for me to receive this and I wanted to do the same for him.”

“Thank you all so much. This is such a meaningful donation because Rotaplast does such wonderful work helping children around the world have a more normal life,” said Sears.

President Sears received an enthusiastic round of applause from all members in attendance!
