If you are doing some spring-cleaning, perhaps you have some old computers, televisions, monitors, or small appliances that you don't know how to recycle safely. If so, consider donating those old electronic items to PAR-Recycle Works and help change someone's life.

PAR-Recycle Works is a non-profit electronics recycler providing transitional employment, job skill training and permanent job placement to people returning from prison. They provide job skills training and permanent job placement program.

Donors benefit because they are safely recycling and doing something for the environment. PAR-Recycle benefits because need the items to keep their machinery and workers busy.

“We need supplies to continue our mission of reducing recidivism and providing training and development to those returning from prison,” said Dr. Barry Corbin, Customer Relations Manager. Corbin explained that they can pick up corporate e-waste or even establish a static collection box at business locations.

Chestnut Hill Rotary support for PAR-Recycle Works.

Chestnut Hill Rotary supports PAR-Recycle Works through financial grants and working with them for recycling events. Dr. Barry Corbin, Customer Relations Manager for PAR-Recycle Works recently joined Chestnut Hill Rotary membership and is looking forward to helping increase environmental efforts in the community.

PAR-Recycle recently received some of the highest certifications for recycling industry standards. These certifications ensure that their e-waste materials are managed in an environmentally responsible way, protecting health and safety and data security. It also ensures a consistent standard of quality care, security and documentation of each unit PAR recycles, helping their clients accomplish important social and environmental goals.
