The Rotary Club of Chestnut Hill launched its latest efforts to raise funds and awareness for local and international charitable causes. The event will take place at the North Penn VFW in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania on May 12.
“We are really excited to have this event again because it is really a lot of fun,” said Ellen Williams, Fundraising Chair. The annual event had to go on hiatus for a few years due to COVID-19.
Guests will be able to enjoy cocktails, great food and conversation while playing Bingo with fellow Rotarians, friends and family.
Each set of Bingo cards cost $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Guests can buy additional sets to increase their chances of winning. The prize for games 1-11 will be $50 cash. The final game is $100 cash! There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a basket of cheer offered to one lucky winner.
Most importantly, the contributions allows Chestnut Hill Rotary to provide books for students in schools, deliver polio vaccines that protect children for a lifetime, or provide relief and aid for people experiencing food insecurity or homelessness, to name a few.
