Club meeting, May 31, 2017 – State Representative Chris Rabb State Representative Chris Rabb represents the state legislative district that includes parts of Chestnut Hill, Mount Airy, and West Oak Lane. He related a short biography and family history in order to illustrate why he became involved in politics. All four grandparents were civil rights activists, but they were also interested in individual achievement in society. Chris has also written a book entitled Invisible Capital, which presents a program of socially responsible investment. He feels that he is following his grandparents’ advice in that “If people of integrity do not run for public office, others will.” Reading for today – from Charles Baudelaire, The Flowers of Evil Invitation to the Voyage My child, my sister, Think of the rapture Of living together there!
