Club meeting, February 15, 2017 - Mindfulness
 
Mindfulness is an approach to human behavior that allows us to navigate stress, clarify our priorities build inner strength, and to feel healthier and more energetic. It helps us counteract the busy nature of our lives and to achieve better clarity on what we are doing. Esther Wyss-Flamm presented ideas on how to utilize mindfulness in our daily lives. This can be done through physical exercises (we practiced breathing) and through interaction with others (we practiced short presentations in groups of two). The idea is to become aware of your body and to generate energy while relieving stress.
